Walking and Racing on a gorgeous Fall morning

Toronto Power Walkers were out in full force yesterday! Eight of us were walking in the beautiful fall foliage of our walking home (Mt Pleasant Cemetery), and another 8 were walking/ racing in the Toronto Women's 8k race in Sunnybrook Park, accompanied by our enthusuiastic support crew (thanks BDL) who ensured we were well nourished before and after the race. We showed everyone what walkers can do! Half of our 8 racers finished in the top 3 of their age category. We all finished up right and smiling.
