TPW Adventures (by DD)

Our latest adventure was to the Canadian Canoe Museum in Peterborough. It all started with PK asking if anyone was interested and wound up with 9 of us in 3 cars on a road trip! I confess that, although at the beginning I was really only along for the company, I enjoyed the whole outing. PK organized it beautifully with a guided tour, lunch reservations on the patio and, wonder of wonders, beautiful weather (how did she do that, eh?).

Some highlights for me – the beautiful building which is somehow suggestive of a canoe, the setting on a small lake, the floor map showing the extensive waterways that make up this country, the exquisite flowing beauty of some of the canoes, the art show, the delicious lunch and ice cream cone. And last, but never least, the company. LR summed up the day concisely with WOW! So what is next my intrepid gang? (Editor's response: Early morning walk and brunch on Toronto Island)
