Well 2023 is a wrap, my TPW gang. This is the last blog of the year, fittingly written on the last day of the year.
In preparation, I had a fast review of the year's blogs and am amazed at how much we have done as a group! Some highlights include:
· our first post-pandemic, in-person business meeting/social in February
· a private tour of the High Park cherry blossoms in April with D as our very own guide
· the race in Halifax in May
· the 5K Give a Breath race for lung cancer in June
· celebrating Canada Day (July) in our very own outdoor cafe with B & R (and S, of course) as hosts
· walking on the island and the annual pool party at R's, both in August
· the Remembrance Day celebration at the cemetery in Nov.
And there is a running theme, throughout the blogs, of the benefits - physical, mental and spiritual - of being part of this caring, nurturing group. Where else would you be able to find insights on anything from good plumbers to good books?
