During our walk, the ice had many of us distracted from our conversations. If ice had a personality, I would say that it was rude.
We, of the TPWs, enjoy our conversations. They can range anywhere from politics to the complexities of teaching a grandchild how to tie a shoelace. We consider all discussions of equal importance. We do not need the interruptions, nor the distractions ice creates by its location on the sidewalks and roads we TPWs walk on. One would think that by February ice would know where it is welcomed and enjoyed, i.e. skating rinks. However, dearest TPWs, this does not appear to be the case.
Hopefully, spring will arrive sooner than later to teach ice some manners. Still one does wonder.
Just in case spring arrives later than sooner and the ice does not figure out where it is not intrusive, walk the distance safely.
