Returning from a wonderful vacation, it is easy to lose the glow and relaxation you feel from being away from all of your daily routines. Somehow, the empty house isn’t as clean as you thought you had left it. The garden has exploded. It is beautiful and full of summer flowers, but you can barely walk in the door for the vines and brambles that are trying to block the passageway. And suddenly family arrives, wanting to eat and to tell you of their adventures and disasters that happened while you were taking a break from reality. Did I mention the jetlag and finding yourself wide awake at 4 AM? Never mind all of that. As soon as your wonderful walking friends see you, you are welcomed back into the warm and happy hug of people who are not only glad to see you, but actually want to hear the details of what you did while away. “Welcome home!” is the very best greeting a traveller can have.
