Not that anyone is sitting at home breathlessly waiting for this, but it is late! And lately, I have noticed that I’ve stopped doing a good job of prioritizing how I spend time. For example, I am spending far too much time watching Sanditon on PBS. Especially as I know how every single plot line will be resolved as they are all taken from Jane Austen’s published novels. Also, I’m finding it takes a lot longer to solve The Globe’s cryptic crossword. I’m assuming this is a sign of slower brain functioning which I then spend some time musing about while I get ready to take a nap. And my book club meets this week and I had to finish the book! And then there are the nasty big little jobs like computing and filing my income tax return, and emptying, cleaning and refilling the cat litter box.
So I’m sorry I’m late and I’m going to give some serious thought to how I set my priorities. Maybe I can read a book about it?
