Wow!
What a difference between Saturday and Sunday! Saturday’s walk had me in shirtsleeves before
we’d even left. This morning I was shivering
in my winter coat. A good reminder of
the importance of checking the weather forecast and dressing appropriately when
we’re out on our walks. We were
interrupted by a little rain but not enough to spoil the enjoyment of what may
have been the last beautiful fall day.
There was still beautiful autumn
colour in the leaves blowing around us.
Walking with TPW keeps me connected to the
seasons. Living in a condo downtown,
travelling mostly underground, I sometimes forget what season it is without
visual cues. But my Saturday and Tuesday
walks in all weathers reconnect me to nature’s cycles.
